i was really enthusiastic about this release, i dont know why. probably the cover art. so i dled it to see if it was purchase material and i could only get up to song 6 before i just stopped and dumped it in the recycle bin.

total zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzs. at least we'll always have pierced from within.

That further supports my theory that he is Al Bundy.

I preferred his lyrics on the self-titled.... in particular

this album makes me so happy.

i think this is one of suffocations most mature releases. unveils it self to me as the culmination of all their works.

full of texture and atmospheric vibes--def has old school flavor to it.
songs are pretty complex, conceptually, and architecturally.

heads are shitting on the mix, saying that the axes need to be out front more but i like the overall cohesiveness of what is going on here, tonally speaking.

no cerrito = different band, although i think this is suffo's best lineup. you cant mess with KREATURE and Marchais.

Frank really is my problem with this band lately. The music is fucking awesome, but I can't stand his vocals and the way he verses his lyrics -- I think it completely detracts from the shredding/blasting/slamming.

Breeding The Spawn needs more appreciation. The slams are so slow, it could almost be considered Doom.

the only problem with Breeding the Spawn is the recording, its cool, but if it was done with the Pierced From Within sound it would be BAROOOTAL.

^^^Precisely -- Breeding the Spawn is a great album but the production is horrible. They should remix it and re-release.
