wow..... i am really surprised. I REALLY like this, buckethead, AND Brian the Brain?! It's fucking good, way over produced vocals, i would hate to hear how it's gonna sound live, but the music rules.

I downloaded it last night but have yet to listen to it. I expect it to suck ass.

it really doesn't suck ass. If you have ever heard bucketheads solo stuff, it sounds similar, real funky with very strange riffs, great solos, and real nice vocal layering. I think you'll be surprised.

Brain was awesome with Godflesh. He played half the drums on "Songs of Love..." and its remix album. Buckethead solo I can't stand, but his shit with Bill Laswell is some deep shit.

Still ain't gonna give this a chance. Not that big a GNR fan.

i am not a GNR fan either, it doesn't sound like GNR. and the stuff on this is funky like the laswell stuff. Anyways, it's much better than you think. It's not really my bag, i won't dig on it for weeks or anything, but it is definately shockingly listenable.

wow, i did not put 2 and 2 together that Brain on this was the same one from Songs of Love and Hate.

I was wondering if brain was still playing drums for them. Brain will forever be known as the 2nd rate tim alexander of primus to me. He's still great though. He's not showy at all with the gnr stuff, which is perfect.

And there ARE a couple of pretty catchy tunes on this disc.

this may be good for Bucketheads solo stuff, but from what i've heard it is absolute shite for GnR.

i really like it. nothing too "hard rockin" but anyone expecting another "appetite" is a mongoloid faghandler.

I was too young to appreciate g'n'r when they were big. I liked them but I couldn't really appreciate their music as much as I can now. I'm digging this album, I really am. Whatever happened to Slash?

i was sick of that new gnr song after one listen. and i can listen to the old shit over and over again with no problem. the riffs are terrible, axls voice is shot, and the guitar solo is full of pointless wanking.

I just heard 5 songs from it on HJY. Total crapola. What happened to the guitars? It was all bass and keyboards. Hopefully the other half of the album is better. What I heard fucking sucked.

Brain will not be known as such. Listen to old Praxis, then tell me he is second rate. Tim Alexander is awesome though.

"that new GNR song" is probably not the best representation of the album. Don't get me wrong, i am not totally loving this record, in fact there are songs i was sick of before i'd listened all the way through. But there are some gems on it, stuff that the vocals are reminiscent of dream theater, stuff that sounds like porno with flamenco guitar, wierd stuff, but definitely worth listening too.

he just wanted to give us a good album, guys
