it sucks being 20, good thing cause i was planing on going to this.
it would have sucked driving an hour and a half, then not getting in. |
ill be at this but i saw 9 on the asylum myspace. will be great to see the red chord its been awhile. |
I couldn't figure out the asylum's myspace either.
I'm going to be there around 8pm |
I just missed someone's set.. left wallet in car |
ok, that was a lie. they were just setting up and sound checking. I ran for nothing. |
the band ruin is opening at 9pm. |
so, basically no one in a band is here yet. not that im really looking for them. one of the bouncers told me that hey only sold 30 tickets pre-sale. it's not going to be that big. there is also no barricade this time and it's the in house security team so they have no clue about photographers. i've been told like 8 times that I can't have my bag in here. |
oh and the guy that runs the shows here just came up and talked to me. seems like a really nice guy. I know that this place is trying to raise from the gravde shows wise |
im sort of bored sitting here waiting. I can't chit chat with anyone cause I've lost my voice. |
you shouldn't have rushed off ..you could have gotten lucky! |
tell me about it... but you got lucky by me leaving the house to you. |
ruin is finally starting. |
ruin is a just plan awesome band. I have said it many times before, but they rule. it's weird that all the bro-moshers and pushpitters love them, but they sound like death (even if the people in the audience compare tthem to devil driver.) |
with ruin's stuff off the stage, the stage is now huge. basically everyone in this joint was here to see ruin. many of them indicated that they were probably leaving. if someone would have billed this as shadow fall's singer, people would have dropped their nuts to be here. |
and architect I done. sound-wise, it was far superior to holyoke, but there was next to no audience participation since the crowd still here was all about ruin and only a couple people knew them. the new songs sound really good. I can't wait for the disc to come in the mail. I would say that the older songs are much heavier, but still, it was good. some funny/awkward moments on the stage, but that's tricks up in maine. |
at home working on pictures |

really??? |
was this 21+ more than likely? |
people in maine are big on stuff like that. |

I picked up Ruin's album a year ago, but never listened to it. Hmm, maybe I shall! |
