i think "Scary Movie" started this whole kick of modern day parodies.....but unlike it's three sequels, and all these other pieces of shit, S.M. was actually pretty fuckin funny

They parody WAY too many things in one movie. In the ads alone, they show parodies for like 30 different movies/pop culture happenings. Just off the top of my head they show Amy Winehouse, Sex And the City, 10000 BC, Zohan, Iron Man, Hulk, Juno, Enchanted, Alvin And the Chipmunks, Wanted, WWE, and Hancock. Way too much for one movie.

Not to mention they're parodying (?!) movies that are less than a month old. Scary Movie went back a ways and spoofed on all kinds of movies from the past...not from something that had hit theaters a month before.

Stupid kids and their shitty attention spans...too much pac man video games I say.

scary movie 2 was the funniest

Scary Movie 1 and 2 were awesome because the Wayans brothers were pretty much in charge. After that it obviously just blew up, the ideas got stale very quickly, but whatever movie company does these things realized how easy it was to capitalize on it, seeing how the general populus aren't critical enough of the stupid shit they all pay for.

I have to agree with everyone here. These movies are just awful and are made by two very unfunny douche-bags with no talent. It's like they just imitate scenes sarcastically and thats it.
