hello! i am kyle and i am a bassist from portland. i have been trying for a long time now to start a band but living in a small city makes it very hard. so i started writting my own music and then came to find out that writting alone is extremely boring, so i need some cats to give me a hand. My main influences are cynic, dream theater and the cancer conspiracy just to name a very very select few. the music i have been writting is rock based but i would be more than happy to take it in a more aggressive direction. i have spent a few years in school for bass so i know my way around theory and more advanced playing but i am more than cool playing with someone who doesn't know the first thing about theory. I am looking for people who know how to play their instruments well and who just want to chill out and bust balls writting fun and interesting music. oh! i also have a jam space in my basement! so lets shred

I know the bassist, and I'm not sure he's in it full time. He's friends with the guitarist so I figured it was more of a fill in for fun situation. Its at least worth asking about.
