they redid 3 songs from Framing Armageddon with Barlow on vocals and they sound very mediocre with him doing the vocals.
granted I Walk Alone, the new song is pretty damn decent... but the Ripper stuff sounds much better with Ripper. although i bet all the Iced Earth fap-masters whined and cried when Ripper redid some Barlow songs... but the songs Ripper remade sounded better than the Barlow ones.
In fairness the Framing Armageddon songs were written with Ripper in mind not Barlow, I think a lot of the stuff on The Glorious Burden suffered because the opposite was true
yeah i understand that, but i really dont have any problems with the Glorious Burden stuff at all really. i dont get that kind of vibe. hell... the Gettysburg "song" is probably my favorite IE tune. Hold At All Costs especially.
i dont know man. ripper is so much of a halford knockoff its ridiculous. barlow actually has his own voice, and its damn good. not to mention iced earth with ripper at metalfest was god awful.
