i don't think he meant keeping hundreds of thousands of troops over there, though...just a couple of small bases or something, just in case things get a little wild over there. either way, that argument doesn't justify risking the lives of 1,000s of Americans. let the new iraqi govt. figure it out. they're big boys too.
not to mention the fact that if you leave a small amount of troops over there they'd be exceptionally vulnerable to a full on attack by some damn extremists.
