You all have AIDS for not being here. I feel like I died and went to heaven.

TTOS played with Loaded for Bear once. They were pretty good.

I doubt I'm going to Sunday but I was there all day yesterday and will be around a good portion of today. It started off kind of slow yesterday, but there were a couple bands worth mentioning, namely Gomek and Cult Ritual. Things didn't really pick up in my mind until Shitstorm started playing. The band that played after them isn't on that listing, some surf rock band called the Bleach Boys, they were actually really good. The show kept going through the awesomeness of A.N.S., Coke Bust, Harm's Way, Blank Stare, Sick Fix, and then ended with a Weekend Nachos set where at least 15-20 people were on stage for every song screaming the words...god damn, that was like the culmination of a lifelong dream.

Mekhago NT, In Disgust, Magrudergrind, and Pulling Teeth are all playing in that order today, gonna rule!

Meh, all I listen to lately is Ion Dissonance, Jay-Z, Avett Brothers, Bjork, TV on the Radio, Black Flag, and the first Burnt By the Sun EP.

I can't get into much these days, even friends' bands.

Though I do desperately want to here the PE demo...

In Disgust didn't end up playing after all. I thought Common Enemy was gonna be a no-show but they played today and were seriously awesome. Didn't follow that direct order either. Protestant played between Mekhago NT and Magrudergrind, I didn't really dig them much though. I didn't dig their half of the split with Rhino Charge either though so this isn't too surprising. Mekhago NT has the same drummer and vocalist from Shitstorm, it's pretty must fast heavy hardcore, awesome as fuck. Magrudergrind played another outstanding set much like the one I saw at Redrum a year and a half ago. This band easily had the most people crammed up front out of anyone I'd seen so far, lots of stage dives occured. They also had a guitarist that wasn't Mough playing, I believe the dude's name is RJ and he got the job done well. After that, rather than sit through four bands I didn't care about to see a band who was headlining that I only had some interest in(Pulling Teeth), I just picked up dinner for my girlfriend(holy shit, did he just say girlfriend?) and I and brought it back here.

Low 80s for high temperatures in Florida and I come back to Rhode Island tonight and it's 9 degrees at my house, fuuuuuck.
