side project: for what they were, it was pretty good and tight. I'm not really into the style, but I was surprised that a small band from RI sounds like that. People have bitched about them "sounding like nin", but they really don't. the singing is definitly different. it sounds more like 30 seconds to mars, but they spend a lot more time with misical parts. the singer/keyboardist is a really good paino player.

das ist ein karttoffel: interesting, the guy (ryan) from serotonin messing around with looping guitar/cymbol. I saw someone do this once before, but I can't remember who.

fourhorse: on their "worst of shows", they are still simply amazing. got the demo and listened to it on the drive home.

fourhorse are a bunch or drunks and should be treated as so.....

thanks for comming, i figured you wouldent be that into Side Project but it was worth a try. what kinda bands do you expect to come outta providence tho? the sound at as220 was bad as was the turn out but wat can u expect. interesting i never thought of 30 sec to mars when describing Sp. so wat do i gotta do to get you to more local shows here in prov? there are a bunch of realy good bands not just metal or hc but they all have there own sounds and styles. bands like Donnybrook, Overfiend (so close to comming back), Sever, and so on... ya we all know about the big underground local scene in prov (onleyville) but theres a bunch of realy good bands and shows that happen that no one goes to cuz there not "onleyville bands" i wish that would change and the local shows at like the living room, would be as packd. k g2g now later.
