German thrashers DESTRUCTION will team up with SADUS and MUNICIPAL WASTE for a North American tour in January/February. First confirmed dates are as follows:

Feb. 03 - Quebec City, QC @ L' Imperial
Feb. 04 - Boston, MA @ The Middle East Club
Feb. 06 - Philadelphia, PA @ First Uniterian Church
Feb. 07 - Springfield, WV @ Jaxx
Feb. 15 - San Antonio, TX @ White Rabbitt

As previously reported, DESTRUCTION will enter the studio later this month to record the "Best of Classix" album, tentatively due in early 2007 via AFM Records.
The band previously stated about the upcoming CD, "As it's really difficult to get the old records those days and to avoid a 'best of album' with only old recordings in rather poor quality, we've have chosen the solution to re-record many of the '80s classix, including one or two tunes of the 'Crack Brained' album (where Schmier wasn't singing!!!). It's great fun to pick and rehearse the old songs at the moment. With a powerful sound and the brutal energy that the band delivers nowadays, there is no doubt that this will fuckin' shred!"
DESTRUCTION is continuing to support its latest CD, "Inventor of Evil", which is available in Europe on AFM Records and in North America on Candlelight Records. |

Holy shit! That's a fucking LINEUP! For once, a real balls out 100% thrash lineup...and no california date? they better get to that shit, otherwise I'm calling in the frequent flyer miles. Municipal Waste are gonna make them work if they don't want the show stolen from under them, haha
