yup, going - i hate dragonfraud and people comparing into e to them, into eternity owns
So where do you buy tickets? I mean as far as I know only the bands have sold me tickets to mark's. And if there are no bands that I can get to buy the tickets form do you just drive there and buy them there at any time? or do you have to only buy them from bands?
windowpane: rocky metaly. Some of the things they played reminded me of nevermore without the amazing guitar work. Honestly, I thought it was going to be a terrible nu-metal band but surprisingly it wasn't. Yeah! They had the largest crowd of the night I'm guessing.
A real convo I evesdropped on:
"where did you get that shirt?"
"hot topic!"
"sic dude!"
mongrel: a lot of their stuff was just punky rock. they had some songs that were similar to some slower metallica metal. And um.. They did covers. Of what, I have no clue. But the vocals sounded like lee ving (fear) on the covers. Somehow, the singer knew who I was and shouted RTTP out at the end of their set. That makes 2 surprise shout outs by 2 bands on the same stage one night after the other. Curious.... At the end of their set, the singer called members of all the other bands on stage to sing along with one of their songs. Then the singer jumped into the crowd.
sorry i didn't get to personally say hi, i know you had to jump up and reposition for First Shove as i was coming around with the mailing list and cds and such.
thanks for taking all the great pictures!!
glad you picked up on the Lee Ving aspect. our covers were:
Fear "I don't care about you"
Misfits "Dig Up Her Bones" (partial)
Misfits "Bullet"
and our 2nd to last song was "Coma America" by AMEN
Anthony and I showed up just a bit before and luckily missed most of the opening acts. Into Eternity were awesome. Very tight set.

we did put out updated flyers but for whatever reason it didn't translate to flyers from the club's side getting changed. sorry about the confusion. hope the Seemless show at millys was cool too
first shove: they still have the banner... The first time I saw them was at drifters, years ago. They were really nu-metaly back then. I know they switched singers. The new singers gets the award for most precious haircut. Someone spent a few extra dollars at super cuts. The music has changed and gotten a hec of a lot heavier.
into eternity: they did the whole pro-sound checking thing and it was surprisingly done quickly (after the delay button was turned off). They really sounded awesome. Their second guitarist bailed 1 week into their tour, but it didn't matter. They held it up amazingly with one. Tim, I think that is his name, made running the frett-board look like childsplay. 1/2 way through the set, they played nothing for mark. No seriously, the song is called nothing and they played it for mark guy. I give their set an A+. Too many songs I didn't know, but yeah!
