I'm here now, but you aren't.
this place is nice and small. it's nice.. and small.
like 3x the aviary. the only sucky thing is the pole right in the middle. it seems like RI people love a pole in the middle of their stages.

spanish bombs, the: they were pretty good. I guess this is the 2nd show they did. It had a fugazi-ish punk sound to it.

get killed: I much perfer seeing these guys on a show like this that one at the livingroom. They are highly energetic live. They played newer songs. It seems that they are moving towards more 70s rock influence than punk with some of it. The singer spent the whole set thrashing around the audience.

drawblood: their 7" came out today. I think it's on jonah's label. They got added to this show at the last minute so the jumped up and blew through the 7" quickly. The singer pointed out the fact that they've been kicked off every label that mliw has been on.

backstabbers inc: awesome set. I don't see jonah enough these days. people started right off moving for them. after a song, the people calmed down and just started watching. these guys are planning to tour europe at some point.
on a side note, matt's side project "goodbye cruel world" will probably be on RTTP before BSI is.

shipwreck: they stated of with an intergrity cover. it wasn't dwit's voice, but it still ripped. the kids in the crowd stepped it up a bit for them. a lot of the time, it was dificult in the front to actually get pictures, but I'll survive.

modern life is war: this is the band that was the reason I drove all the way to RI for this show and I would do it again. they started off with the first track off their deathwish CD. that is suck a good track. after that, with the crowd being insane (not to mention insanely drunk), they play what seemed like to me to be most of their CD. I'm excited to see them again on sunday.
