My girlfriend just bought a Nikon D50 camera and she wants a wide angle lens to go with it. I know nothing of cameras but I have the day off to go buy her a lens for x-mas. Any suggestions?

how much are you looking to spend?
what lens does she have for it (18-50 f/3.5-4.5 I'm guessing)?
how wide? like fisheye?

preferably $200 tops. maybe a little more.

I think it comes with the 18-55. She mentioned getting a fish eye someday but I think she wants it for landscapes since she takes alot of nature photos.

I might go to the Hunts Photo in PVD.

well, there aren't many good lenses in the $200 price range.
especailly not better than 18mm.

the only good lens that is in the $200 price range is the 70-300mm G lens.
