sucks that they make you sell tickets.... my friends band played there and had to, the sold a bunch through there site using paypal so they had money for gas etc.

I disagree.Deicide is one of the best Death Metal bands out there
yeah up till Once Upon the Cross, after that they fell face first into steriods and a pile of coke. im not knocking the older material its solid but they shit they've been putting out since blows

Apparently, that guitar is hanging on the wall at Renaissance tattoos in Woonsocket. I randomly heard it mentioned the same fucking night you posted that, too.
i have yet to set foot into the current renaissance location, i been meaning to get down there.
I've only ever been in the new one to give Kevin a copy of the poster I made to wave around at McCarthy's wrestling match across the street. It was a shot of Mike from when we were all in COW when we were, like, 16, and he's got a bicced head, Vanilla Ice stripes shaved in his eyebrows, and fake magic marker tattoos - among them a Phil Anselmo-style rocker reading "UNSCARED". Wicked introspective band-guy pose. I blew it up huge and put it on foamcore board. He didn't think it was as funny as I did.
I don't know guys, Kenny Lanning mades a pretty hard sell when he promised me that I could do a line off of some 16 year old suicide girl wannabe's ass at the Palladium show while we listened to some sick metalcore.
And I know I can trust him on this one, not like the other times he's let people down. He gave me his word.
I seriously need a ride to this, I've got two tickets and no car. Your ride gets my ticket, and possibly a "happy ending" on the way down, if you play your cards right. I'm in Woonsocket, RI. DRIVE ME.
I will supply drugs and alcohol to the driver and passengers...

also i believe brendan the singer for the late great thenightmarecontinues... is going to this show and will be driving his minivan down there. so if anyone needs a ride you might wanna try top get a hold of him. im not at my computer so i dont have his s/n in front of me.
but yes put thy heads together and get them heads to danbury for vital remains and incantation !

but brendan's IM is headofthebaptist so if anyone is looking for a ride you might wanna hit him up. i must warn you though brendan is sXe vegan so you wont be partying too much on the ride, i'd believe.
FROM NYC: Take I-87 NORTH (Major Deegan Expressway) to I-287 EAST. Follow to
I-684 NORTH to I-84 EAST. Take Exit 5 (in Connecticut) go straight through stop sign at end of ramp. Make right at first light (at Bottom of hill) onto RT 53 (Main St). Go straight through 5 lights. At 6th light make left onto Keeler St. Park in the 1st or 2nd lot on the left.

Incantation sounded fucking excellent. Vital sounded good, not perfect but good, the mix wasn't incredible but their playing was. That club is a complete shithole but it's got a really really high ceiling. I'm a big fan of baphomet's horns, but I missed their set last night. I hear their playing was good but the mix was not great and everything was muddy for them.
Overall there was a pretty good atmosphere in that place, which I approved of.

I hate myself a lot for not getting down to this, I bought tickets and everything, but no ride = no rock. Ah, well.
We had a great crowd, I couldnt complain in the least bit, everyone was into it and kids were beating the hell out of eachother which is always fun. The bands that played before us all sounded the same (in my opinion) and were all black metal. Incantation started getting boring when all the songs melted together, i think it needs a bit more variety, not bashing them, but after a while it all sounds the same. Vital sounded good, Anthony was rockin a TS shirt, so thats always rad. The crowd started filtering out during Incantation, but i honestly believe its because most of them had had school in the morning, it was a very "young" show, but everyones got start somewhere, right.
We got a very positive responce from Incantation, Vital, and the dude from Suffocation that was there, so that made me happy. Incantation asked us about comming up soon and doing a hall show, so no promises, but keep an eye out in the future.
good to hear guys...sorry we didn't make it, brendan and i collectively didn't even have enough money for gas. hopefully this will be the start of bigger things for you guys.

oh yeah vital played a new song anthony dedicated it to the dood from vader who died.
also it was the fastest song ive heard them ever play....kinda weird for them the style anyways but it was pretty sick
