All the other bands are tour bands. Flowers in the attic are fucking awesome and friends of mine. Triac are friends of theirs. Comrade kilkin are a rad band I played with once and eat your heart out are friends with them.

Its pretty insane, but it just so happens that there are 5 touring bands that need a show the same night, so im trying to help them all out. Even if they aren't all grind, I hope people check them out anyway. support!

With names like that, they could very well be Emo bands and who really cares about supporting touring bands that suck? I prefer to support GOOD bands, not just anyone who slapped together a little trip in a van.

throwing shrapnel: they didn't sound as good as they did the other day. I thin it was the PA. they started playing with no one in the basement and slowly a couple people filtered in.

triac: speedy hardcore/punk/noisecore from the south. they were really good. quick songs. reminded me of drop dead mixed with some terrifyer era pigdestroyer. maybe it was just the PA does there, but some of the vocals were over blown like JR's. and there was a lot of "weird" noises coming from the bass cab. it might have been a synth box like dillinger/the_network use, but I don't know.
the guitar player was in kayo dot too and he gave me a CD, yeah!


flowers in the attic: the vocals were almost non-existant (due to the singer having lost her voice), but it was still pretty good. the music and vocal placements reminded me of kylesa, but with out as many good progressions. while looking online, they seemed like a punk band, but weren't.

my life with her ghost: this was my first time see them. I never saw them before the broke up. some rock parts, some CWAFy parts. over all pretty good and entertaining. I think I should check out there mp3s.

i wanted to see magrudergrind more than i wanted to play. I was feelin pretty good about playin this, until about the 3rd song in, and i realised people were just sitting, looking at us, like a herd of cattle, thats when i hit the "this is gay" mindset, and lost interest.

guitarist was in maudlin of the well. not kayo dot, he left, then MotW reformed as kayo dot... i was luck enough to play with him between MotW and triac

yeah.. that's what I meant. yeah.
he did say "kayo dot with a different name" or something like that
