Fear Factory Announces Dates for GIGANTOUR
Band to Hit the Road with Megadeth, Dream Theater,
Dillinger Escape Plan, NeverMore, Dry Kill Logic and Symphony X
Fear Factory has announced the tour dates for the much-anticipated Gigantour which was
organized by Dave Mustaine and features such hit metal bands as Megadeth, Dream Theater,
Dillinger Escape Plan, NeverMore, Dry Kill Logic, and Symphony X.
Mustaine, who handpicked the bands for GIGANTOUR, says that his focus was on
musicianship.
“There are a few very successful tours out each summer and in order to be significant,
I knew the first GIGANTOUR had to make an impact with top bands like Dream Theater, FEAR
FACTORY, Dillinger Escape Plan and Nevermore,” he said.
Fear Factory is also currently in the studio recording tracks for their new album
Transgressions, which is slated for an August 23 release via Trillion Records. Trillion
is the new imprint from Liquid 8 Records and Entertainment founder and CEO Mike Cattain
who created Trillion as a home for FEAR FACTORY and new bands seeking a creative haven
grounded in growth.

eat shit for only half the bill, huh |
Dry kill logic and Fear Factory, sounds like a good show to me |
damn you publicists for sending these things out so late! |
altho the fag factory wasn't on the list originally
Fear Factory and Nevermore are going to dominate. why Dry Kill Logic? they are weak |
and Dillinger Escape Plan is pure dogshit |
fear factory havent been even remotely good for years.... |
yeah, this is just about the gayest bill ever created.
I like Nevermore but gimme a frickin' break!
R.I.P. Mustaine |

DKL isn't terrible.. just not my bag.
I don't like nevermore or symphony x though. |

i liked up to souls of a new machine, tried to get into and liked a little of demanufactur saw em with maiden in i think 96 |
i am one of those elitist assholes that once a band fags out(metallica, slayer and machine head are now) i don't ever like em again they could go out and make a cd the equils their most popular album(master.., reign in blood and burn my eyes) and i will always remember that they sold out to cash in and to me that is unforgivable when creating music/art |
I'll be there for Symphony X and Symphony X alone. If any of the other bands were ever any good, they haven't been for at least 5 years. |
machinehead always sucked |
eh i liked "burn my eyes" |
I never really likes machinehead either. |
they were fun to watch live and were really cool guys |
There's no chance of Metallica or Megadeth reclaiming their glory. Ever. |
true, but megadeth has at least stayed more true then metallica |
i think Fear Factory is incredible. Raymond Herrera is one of the best drummers i've ever heard. i base alot of my vocals off of Soul of A New Machine, but the rest is amazing as well. but i'm sure someone will call me an ignorant poser wannabe for liking them. |

blasphemy of the highest order!
i am going to the show in manchester. on my birthday no doubt!
and contrary to all the bitching, this will rule. |
no way man, fear factory fucking rules, i saw em' with chimaira and they put on a hell of a show, |
last time i saw them they played almost all stuff from obsolete, demanufacture, and the first one. nothing from digimortal, and only a few off of the new one.
yeh no offense to digimortal but that just wasnt nearly as good as some of their previous stuff especially tracks like edgecrusher from obsolete, personally i dig the first track off their newest album archetype, stay away from all the digital shit, stick to the basics! |
A friend of a friend is on Fear Factory's crew for this tour.
I can get in free and probably back stage passes to and I still don't want to go to this piece of shit tour.
High on Fire is awesome. Everyone else sucks shit.
Fuck Mustaine and his idiotic new-found christianity. He made great music when he was a junkie. Look at him new. Legalize drugs!
I want to see every band on this tour, this sounds awesome. Except I don't know what Dry Kill Logic are, but I won't be surprised if they suck.
I plan on enjoying this show very much. |
you wont be dissapointed mark my words, they are a metal band from new york, you will like them, they have a unique sound, no just same ol' riffs over and over
Anyone who actually been to this? I would like to know the order of events... I don't have the time to go to the whole thing, but would love to catch Symphony X and Dream Theater... I have seen Megadeth more than enough... and could handle to miss them and the rest if I have to.
you can never see megadeth more than enough. Nevermore ruled. Symphony X ruled. everyone else was meh |
