Sorry I haven't been online much lately...too much work.
The Old Men aren't on, you almost ended up on it (like in a matter of 30 minutes) but a friend of mine from Canada needed a show around the same time so I hook them up. Sorry. You can slap me next time you see me...but you're still welcome to come at the show. I'll hook you up at some point, I'm sure more tours are coming.

Pisscup, yeah that's what I figured, I was just completely wired last night I worked from noon to 1am between the store and AS220. Bartending at a hip hop show, bullet belt on. That was fun but I got out of there with 3 javameister (Jager, coffee whipped cream) that was the end of it.
Rev I would owe forever to be at this show, you should get your cameras water proof though....well, more like beer proof! Please take some pictures of the pit! Please!

contempt for humanity: punk hardcore, some drinking songs. seem them once before, but they didn't tell the usual stories that they do.
neoprophets: part of nefarious plus a drummer in short shorts. slightly dirgey hardcore. Anne guest starred on a song.
straight to hell: from what they said, this was their last PVD show. Last time I saw them, they had a lot more energy... this time there was a lot less jumping and the singer being super synical.
riisetyt: geez... it took them so long to get up there and play. then when they did go to play, the guitar didn't work. they changed heads and still, nothing worked, but then Ben went up there and um.. you know, plugged it in to the wall. that did wonders. of course, then the bass was unplugged. finally, they fixed everything and started. kids in the crowd went nuts and had been going nuts will riisetyt was setting up. it was probably the most chaotic I've seen it there. I can't really comment on how they sounded or how they played cause the PA was completely knocked over and you couldn't really hear much in the corners that I was cowering in. |
