the following message will show some richmond shows that are in limbo due to the bonezone closing. the reason i'm posting this is because some of you VB folks might have been planning on traveling to said events and might even wanna snag some of these, particularly this TRAP THEM band that i've seen some of you post about. its worth a try, just sayin:

"This is pretty hard for me to say, but I am sure most of you have read about it by now.

Due to several factors....especially the asshole who thought it would be funny to piss out a window on people outside during a show....the Bonezone is throwing in the towel. No last show is planned, and all the shows are now homeless.

This includes almost 20 shows that were happening this summer, with some amazing bands that a lot of you were/would be stoked for. Thanks to Kihn, Myra, Ethan, Marc, and the rest of the guys at Nara Sushi, we have found homes for a handful of the shows listed. The others remain in limbo for the time being.

These shows are now confirmed for NARA SUSHI! Expect them to all start at 9, and cost $5.

*Mon 5/21 - The Pharmacy (WA), The Terror-Dactyls (WA), A Roman Holiday, Hot Lava
*Thurs 5/24 - Raccoo-oo-ooon (NY), Erin Tobey, Gull
*Tues 6/05 - Hoth (TN), Descolada (NC), Cough, City of Ships
*Wed 6/16 - Brain Handle (PA), Wasted Time, Bad Advice
*Tues 7/03 - The Goddamn Doo Wop Band (MN), Triple Twins
*Fri 7/25 - Graf Orlock (CA), Comadre (CA), Dangers (CA)

AND.....MOST IMPORTANTLY. These are the shows still in limbo. If your band is playing a show, or you booked one of these shows...please give us a few days before you try to find a home for it. We're trying to get all these booked up as quickly as possible, so you guys don't have to worry about the stress as much, and the venues aren't flooded with requests from dozens of people.
IF YOU WANT TO HELP MAKE ONE OF THESE SHOWS HAPPEN AT YOUR HOUSE/FRIENDS HOUSE/PRACTICE SPACE/BAR/ETC...PLEASE GET IN TOUCH!!! If you are booking one of them, we will get in touch with you very soon.

(Notice, May 4th is tomorrow....if you know anybody who can do this anywhere, let us know. TM is a one man thing that should be low maintenance, and GE is 4 drummers/one gameboy....so no PA is necessary!)

*June 15th - The Taste of Silver (MA)
