If we actually cared about what he was doing why didnt we get involved 10 years ago when he gassed his own people?
I dont think bush went into the war because he wants the oil. I think he really thinks that iraq has biological weapons. I think iraq probably trashed all their weapons after 92 or whenever, but had to keep up an image that they still had them so the other surrounding countries wouldnt invade(Iran). So sadam kept his bluff and didnt let inspectors in. Now we end up destroying their country and their entire history and ruining any chance of economic stability, and there are no weapons to back it up.

i think to justify war you have to have a DAMN good reason for it. WWII was a very good reason. Hitler was trying to take over the world, we were morally obligated to stop it from happening. This was a shit poor excuse for a war. We had no proof of anything, and plenty of people died because of it, and now we've just pissed off the middle east more than we already have, not to mention the terrible economic crisis we're in. How the fuck are we going to afford rebuilding an entire country? vietnam vets cant even afford medication anymore.

blah blah blah blah. people have their own opinions. You cant change a mans view on politics, no matter how hard you try. But at least try to stay informed, most people dont care enough to do that, learn everything you can about it and make your own opinions based on that.
