TO ANY OF THE BANDS: email me about sending me stuff to play on my radio show. Also, I appologize for the crapy pictures as I sent my sb-80dx external flash back to get fixed and I was going naked at that show!

another fun filled night packet into the ICC. I got there at 5:30 and 3 people after me the show was declared sold out. The air was thick with anticipation for the suicide files last show.. well... that and the sweat of 300 other kids. Actually, I'm going to say the air was mostly filled with sweat.

the first band: no I don't hate you, but when ever I get to an ICC show, it's either an hour after it started or I show up on time and it's an hour behind schedule... so I missed your set, who ever you were.

cut the shit: I was against them on principle cause someone put a "cut the shit" sticker over a rttp sticker near the grasshopper (though their sticker came off in the rain).
http://www.returntothepit.com/view.php?formid=93 << the original thread talking abou that incident.
I'm just joking, I really wasn't against them. I heard them on wers a while ago and wanted to see them. they were pretty good. it's like punk-hc.

outbreak: they are always awesome. seriously, any band that the singer gets so into it that (s)he's punching (s)himself in the head gets my vote. [see: alol or slapshot]. I'm pretty sure they are going to be one of the next bands to do a live rttp set (well, I have to ask them first).

the promise: I totally forgot what they guys were like from the last time I saw them. they are good. live I don't really notice anything that jumps out about them. I'm going to *hint**hint* have to get some stuff from them to check out to see what I think.

strking distance: why do these guys remind me so much of slap shot? the singer got into this show so much. He actually seemed quite pissed off that the crowd wasn't going off for them... even though they were... I didn't get it.

the hope conspiracy: second time seeing these guys this week. man, the singer's voice is awesome. I remember their first cd not been quite "loud" enough for my show (lost of slow parts), but the new cd and live is sooo different. kids go so off for them. they seemed a little tired for this show, but it was still a great show. I wish I could get them to come and play live on my radio show... someday, I'll get a house and then I'll have room for people/bands to sleep over. When that happens.. I'll get bands from all across the country to come and play on the show.

the suicide file: ok, another band that I only know from wers's (not to pump up a show that's not myne). well, I wasn't ready for that... I was on the ground by the singer (infront of that girl from cambridge and guy from stoughton who always shoot ICC shows) and I got piled on over and over. I ended up getting pushed back into one of the guitar players cabs, turning the volume off with my bag, I guess. Sorry about that. then I raced around trying to get ANY shots that I could. they offered up special 7" only for that show.. I think they should send me a copy fo rmy show though, pretty please?
