thumbs up to the venue for having AC thumbs down for the gas leak that made me imagine Final Destination-esque endings for my life. It smelled like my grandmother's house when the pilot goes out. sushi corner: the avocu maki and som mi maki was excellent. I thought I was going to get fod poisoning, but nope. it was tastey and the perfect ammount of wasabi! shaws: your grapes are squishy that rj improv band: it was ok. the drums was a constant break down. the vocals where tuff-like with no one really knowing the "lyrics". and such is life: just basic screamo. think llbnf meets sky came falling. They were a little stiff and need to work out the kinks of being in front of a live audience. upon crimson wings: man, these guys really bring the mosh. Actually, they only have one song with a break down in it, but kids where dancing to EVERY song. It's awesome to go to a hardcore show and see a real metalband. They were wearing these dumb, gleaming the cube hats. it would have been funnier if mr. fucking richards participated, but he's (as remembering never would say) "too cool for school". shading the end: I love the vomit vocals and break downs. these guys are pretty killer. Their old singer came back and sang for one song. though.. how much did he paid for those dreds? they looked $$. Is that the end? did that show even shade the end? no, I'm almost willing to bet not. suspension of grace: much better, more comfortable perforance from tha last time I saw them. they actualy got in to it and all. the crowd seemed to go off for them too. At one point, they did the fata thing and had a girl come out and sing with them. I must say I liked the last 2 songs the best. methal orange: hm... I don't think they did the songs I knew from mp3.com cause there wasn't the slow parts. they came out and hardcore rocked it straight. no real pussy stuff there. vanderbuilt: I was as surprise by these guys as I was when I first saw the evergreen terrace. I'm not sure how to classify them, but I'm think it'l be sort of like norma jean. One of their guitarists went crazy. he was spazing out so bad, i was scared to stand next to him. embludgeonment: yep, the are death-grind with a bit of core still. I'm sticking by that description. they have dual guitarists. I wonder what they would sound like with a bass player.. hm... I hear the girl from the acacia strain is free.
