Anyhow, I'm very happy with some of the pictures which is a weird thing these days. I hope you like some of them too.
I'm extremely happy that today was a shorter day. I'm feeling the long day yesterday. It's a shame that this is the last AHC because this was such an awesome weekend. 3 days of bands sharing members. I'm really glad that I got to document it.
Thank you to everyone who complimented me and I'm sorry if I didn't take the complement like I should. I've been fighting to get better at my new camera gear over the past year and a half. It's like 2 steps forward, 1 step back. 3 steps forward, 10 steps back. Always learning but it's just frustrating. Anyhow, thank you. Even if you just liked the reels from IG.
Now that was a looooong day. Still, it was excellent seeing bands that I've never seen before and taking mid pictures of them. I'm very glad that tomorrow isn't a long day, but I will see you there tomorrow at 7pm for C4!
Well... beside Risk, there isn't really a reason to look at the pictures. They are hot garbage. Just look at the Instagram (unless you are trying to find yourself moshing or something). On a good note, the show was wicked successful. This was the first part of 2 shows. I will post about the other show when I get the details and the date gets closer. It was great seeing a bunch of bands that I didn't know. So... A+ for the show... A+ for the bands.. A+ for all the people I got to talk to about my kid and dogs... B for this being Mareep comday and only getting 3 shinnies during the show... but D+ for the pictures.
Oh my, this show was awesome. Not only were the bands A+, not only did I get to introduce my gf to people I've known for decades, but I got more hugs than I have ever gotten before at any show. This show brought so many people out of the woodwork. Thank you everyone!
I definitely needed a show like this. This is the first day of my 10 day staycation. I love shows with 4 bands that all sound so different. If you missed tonight, see them tomorrow at the Space Ballroom in Hamden CT. Otherwise, if you are going to Botch tomorrow, I will see you there.
Ending my looooong weekend with a great Matinee show in PVD. Granted, it's fall so even a matinee ends after dark. Like I always say, Alchemy always see way too nice for the likes of me, but every time I photo there, I want to go more.
